This past week has been filled with sorrow, shock and despair after learning of the passing of two exceptional industry leaders and dear friends of ORHMA. These individuals were passionate hospitality leaders, and took pride in their remarkable careers and contributions to our hospitality industry. Peter Oliver, Oliver & Bonacini

We are truly saddened by the loss of Peter Oliver (74) who passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 21, 2022, after a battle with cancer. Peter Oliver’s remarkable career in the hospitality industry spanned 45 years, during which time he set the bar in Canada for high standards of quality, service and professionalism. Keith Simmonds, Great Wolf Lodge

We are truly saddened by the tragic loss of Keith Simmonds, General Manager and Vice President of Great Wolf Lodge, who passed away on Saturday September 24, 2022. Keith was a true leader whose loss will be felt across Niagara and beyond. Keith was was an integral part in fostering the growth and success of the Niagara Falls location and contributor to the overall success of Ontario's hospitality industry. Read more.
